What do i do ?
What do I do ?
I talk about food, food and more food .
I provide Nutrition consultations to talk about anything food related!
A consultation involves going through your current diet, lifestyle habits and barriers that may be stopping you from reaching your health goals.
We can go over digestive issues such as IBS, bloating and food intolerances. General healthy eating advice (including practical recommendations and recipes) and cooking techniques. Provide advice on how to support an existing health condition through nutrition and gain advice on healthy and sustainable weight loss.
I will then create a 7 day personalise meal plan based around your dietary needs.
What’s the difference between a Nutritionist and a Dietician?
Nutritionists focus primarily on food, food intake and lifestyle factors. A Nutritionist will have to have completed a degree covering food, food science and public health to become an Accredited Nutritionist. A dietician will undertake more medical nutrition studies and have a broader scope to work with diet and disease patients.
Why might you see a Nutritionist?
You’ve tried multiple diets- but they don’t seem to work.
That’s because diets done work, they’re short term and unsustainable. We will aim to design a healthy eating and lifestyle plan to suit your needs. There won’t be any cutting out major food groups and no restrictive patterns!
You don’t have time to eat healthy?
During a consultation we will break down the barriers you might have to eating healthy and provide you with the skills you need to ensure you can fit this into your day to day life. We can work through your daily schedule and plan meals around your week.
Feeling tired all the time?
This is a very common theme to why people usually visit me. Feeling tired can be based around your hormone levels, stress levels, lifestyle habits and of course what you eat. All of these factors play an extremely important role in your energy levels! We will go through the foods you can eat to help have prolonged, higher energy levels.
